Norwegian Air challenged us to produce a social campaign highlighting their key destinations. Our response was to develop a totally sound-based campaign – a ground-breaking concept that was an advertising industry first.
Living on Norwegian’s Instagram and Facebook pages (followed collectively by 1.5 million people), ‘Sounds of a city’ explores iconic destinations through their individual soundscapes. They feature the familiar noises and distinct voices you might hear when out and about in each city. The first in the series is set in NYC, and features a diverse cast of characters, including drag queen Flower Tortilla and Jake Dell, owner of the legendary Katz’s Deli.
